Nikki Williams will release her debut album in 2014. No title and release date have been announced yet.
After signing with Chameleon Entertainment when she was 21, Nikki started recording songs for her debut studio album. Her debut album is expected to be released in late 2013, although no release date has been announced yet. It will be preceded by the promotional single "Kill, F*ck, Marry" and the lead single "Glowing".
For this album, Nikki has worked with producers Dallas Austin, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and Sandy Vee. She also worked Australian superstar Sia Furler and American songwriter Diane Warren.
On July 1st, 2013, Nikki tweeted that she collaborated in the studio with Chaka Khan.
"Kill, F*ck, Marry" was released as the first promotional single from Nikki's debut studio album. This song was written by Australian singer Sia Furler, and produced by the Norwegian production duo Stargate (Mikkel Storleer Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen), notable for their work with Rihanna. The music video was released on 9 November 2012. It was released on iTunes on 30 November 2012.
"Glowing" was released as the lead single from Nikki's debut studio album. The song was written by Arnthor Birgisson, Daniel James, Leah Haywood, Bebe Rexha and Sandy Vee. Birgisson, Dreamlab and Vee produced the song. The music video was released on 25 March 2013, and the song was released on iTunes on December 4 2012. The song was released to pop radio on the 19th of March, 2013, and has become a radio hit, peaking at #20 on Billboard Pop Songs in late July. It also charted on the Canadian Hot 100, peaking at #76, as well as #101 on the Billboard Hot 100
Nikki tweeted that her second single will be released around Black Friday. She announced via Twitter that her second single is called "Thank God It's Friday". She has shot the video in late October.
